Our practices integrate bodywork, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and conscious movement. These are not workouts or quick fixes for feeling better. They are steady, grounded practices that gradually support tension regulation, deepen self-connection, and build a lasting sense of safety in the body.

AWARE APPROACH
PRACTICES AT AWARE SPACE
All classes at Aware Space are held in a warm, attentive, and trauma-informed way. What we offer is an invitation, never a demand. We respect that you are the expert of your own body, nervous system, and inner experience. Our sessions support building self-trust, awareness of your boundaries, and the ability to respond to what you truly need in the moment.
No two bodies are the same.
No two nervous systems are the same.
We encourage exploration and curiosity. We create space for learning, adjusting, and finding your own rhythm. There is no single right way to move, rest, feel, or reflect.
Each class follows a clear yet gentle structure informed by nervous system awareness. It guides you through arriving, regulating, exploring, integrating, and closing with intention. This consistency builds a sense of safety, while the theme and character of each session remain unique.
The intensity ranges from gentle to moderate, is never performance-based, and always remains invitational. This is not about pushing or fixing yourself, but about listening, regulating, and integrating.
LANGUAGE & ACCESSIBILITY
Classes at Aware Space are held in both English and Polish.
Most sessions led by Amanda are conducted in English. Sessions led by Bartek are conducted in Polish. The language of each class is always clearly indicated in the session description.
In English-led sessions, we use clear, steady, and grounded language. Movement classes include visual cues and clear guidance to support those who are learning or practicing the language. You do not need perfect English. Presence, safety, and understanding come first.
GENDER & FORMAT
Most classes at Aware Space are open to both women and men.
Some sessions are dedicated to a specific group, such as Women’s Circle or Męskie Sprawy. In these cases, the intended audience is always clearly indicated in the session description.
Movement and regulation-based classes are available to all genders unless stated otherwise. Coaching and reflection-based sessions may be held in English or Polish, depending on the facilitator, and include deeper conversation and reflective work.
A simple rhythm that can restore balance to body and mind by calming the nervous system from within.
How it works
- 4 seconds inhale through the nose
- 7 seconds hold the breath
- 8 seconds slow exhale through the mouth
Why does it work?
An extended exhale increases vagal tone and CO₂ tolerance, signaling safety to the brain and helping shift out of fight-or-flight mode.
The 4-7-8 technique was popularized by Dr. Andrew Weil, a physician specializing in integrative medicine.
Dr. Weil based it on ancient pranayama practices and states that when practiced twice daily for eight weeks, it significantly lowers baseline stress levels and acts “like a natural tranquilizer” for the nervous system.
What does it support?
- Activates the parasympathetic nervous system (responsible for relaxation)
- Lowers heart rate and reduces anxiety
- Helps you fall asleep faster
- Regulates stress and emotional reactivity
